Check it out. This will be the first in a series of LA Poolside mixes. This here clocks in just below 20 minutes and offers up some nice uptempo dance tunes. This series will showcase the music of artists that I'm listening to. I may on occasion slip one of my tunes in there but for the most part will consist of other artist's music.

Vancans DJ Set at Dim Mak Tuesdays with Blaqstarr

I'll be throwing down my DJ set at the Dim Mak Tuesday Party at Cinespace tonight (1/18/11) which is curated by Them Jeans and Steve Aoki. I'll be in the front room DJing from 11:30 til 2am. This is the Blaqstarr record release party. Blaqstarr is releasing his record on Interscope Records and has produced many tracks for the legendary M.I.A. Make it on out for a great night of music. Also Djing will be Them Jeans, Dan Oh and a live set from American Royalty.

So it's my first invite to DJ at the Dim Mak Tuesday party at Cinespace tonight. The back room will have the DJ talents of Apl.De.Ap from The Black Eyed Peas, the talented Fashen and resident DJs Them Jeans and Dan Oh throwing it down. Make it down for a great night of music.
